The BioHive Women in Science and Technology chapter strives to promote and support the participation, retention and advancement of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields in Utah.
This group believes that diversity and inclusion are essential to the success and innovation of the industry and are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all women in STEM.
The BioHive Women in Tech and Science chapter will achieve this by:
Partnering with industry, community groups, and public organizations to create "returnship" opportunities in STEM companies for women.
Providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities for women in STEM fields.
Raise awareness of the contributions and achievements in STEM by women in Utah.
Advocating for policies and practicies that support the advancement of women in STEM fields.
